Wynn Las Vegas opens booking dates for Memorial Day weekend

While casino operators in Las Vegas do not have a time frame for opening yet, the Wynn Las Vegas is accepting reservations starting on Memorial Day weekend. The website of the company was updated yesterday to show open booking dates for the 22nd.

Michael Weaver, a spokesman for Wynn Resorts, revealed in an email that they are accepting reservations for Memorial Day weekend because it is 7BALL a popular time for tourists from southern California to visit the city. The company will have protective measures for guests and employees in place by the time they reopen.

Additional Casinos Taking Reservations:

Aside from Wynn Resorts, other casino operators are taking reservations and for even earlier dates. The Boyd Gaming Corp., Station Casinos and Caesars Entertainment Corp. have all opened booking for May 15th and beyond.

Nevada Governor, Steve Sisolak, has not confirmed as to when the casinos in the state can reopen. The casino shutdown is set to end on April 30th, but according to the governor, some directives may be extended. So, the venues may be closed for even longer.

According to the Review-Journal…

Richard Broome, a spokesman for Caesars, stated that the company wants to have reservations on their books when they reopen. Just because they have booking dates available on their website, it does not mean that the properties will reopen on that date. Casinos plan on adjusting reservation dates as needed based on when the governor says the venues can reopen.

Canceling Reservations:

For MGM Resorts International, they actually decided to cancel reservations from May 1st to the 21st this past Friday. The website of the brand now has no open dates until June 1st. They had just opened up booking for May 1st but apparently changed their mind.
